| For
each effect you can choose whether to animate all the characters simultaneously
or one at a time in order, by selecting or deselecting the "sync
letters" check box. To speed up or slow down the animation, simply
increase or decrease the number in the frame duration field.
The effects library lists all the effects that come included with SWfX, as well as any custom effects you put in your effects directory. Simply scroll to see all of them. The Flash 3 (non-highlighted) effects are listed first. The Flash 4 (highlighted) effects are listed second. |

| Use
this window to load any font that you have installed on your system. The
various options allow you to customize location, size, color, and alignment
of any installed TrueType font. (SWfX works with any of your installed
true-type fonts, except for unicode fonts.)
The "letter space" field allows you to adjust the space between the animated letters. The "line space" field allows you to adjust the space between the animated lines of text. The color box pops up the Color selector; simply select a color and click "OK". The x field determines the x-coordinate of the beginning of the text in the SWF. The y field determines
the y-coordinate of the beginning of the text in the SWF. |

Check the "loop preview" box to loop the preview of your animation. Checking the "view cursor" checkbox toggles the cursor which appears in the preview window and allows you to move the X, Y start coordinate for your animation. | Text Entry | |
| You can enter in many rows and columns of text in SWfX. Simply type in the text entry window. Please note that you have to hit "enter" or "return" to begin a new line. The amount of text you can animate at once depends on the current SWfX settings. For text that exceeds the size of the window, use the scroll bars to navigate back and forth. To clear all the text in the window, simply click the "clear" button. | |
